Maritime Festival This Friday
Due to adverse wind and weather, the maritime festival was postponed until May 18, 2012.
SEAS Sailboats will be at the dock downtown, in front of the hangar, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for anyone who wants to sail.
This type is chosen when the event is an education workshop or clinic.

Local Sailor Bill Heuman has just recently returned from the South Africa - Brazil leg of he and his wife's ongoing circumnavigation. Bill attende our recent Sailor Talk on May 9, and has extended an invitation to any and all SEAS sailors to attend his presentation of this trip at the next Juneau Yacht Club dinner at the Norway Point club house, Tuesday May 15. Bar opens at 6pm, and sinner for $12 stats at 6:30pm. Presentation will occure with dinner.
As a part of their continuing educational series called 'Sailors Talk', SEAS, the SouthEast Alaska Sailors, are being given a tour of the Juneau Coast Guard Communications Center on April 5th.
We have a two part program starting at 6pm.
